With this new song from his forthcoming project, Sea Dreams: Pacific Northwest Flute Meditations, flute master Gary Stroutsos incorporates the natural sounds of a rainstorm, recorded in real time in his beloved Pacific Northwest, with the understated, ambient sounds – and, importantly, also the spaces – of his flutes.
Once again finding inspiration in a sense of place, he creates a comforting, peaceful soundscape that celebrates the natural beauty and power of the magnificent Pacific coast.
